The Compost Corner was created to educate others about the many benefits of composting. We provide clients with how to's, tips, and tricks, while also specializing in helping them start their own backyard compost. We offer on site consultations, installations, products, and more in order to build compost corners all around the DFW metroplex.

ABOUT THE BOOK
This book was written to show young children the simple steps of composting. Mama’s Mulch is narrated through the eyes of a little girl named Jojo, who helps her family with daily chores around the house in order to create a recipe for making mulch. The story is a wonderful tool to help walk readers through the process of how to create organic materials from waste products found in their everyday life. Important life skills like responsibility, patience, and how to have fun while completing tasks are reflected throughout the pages. Parents and teachers can use this book to educate, motivate, and encourage children to create their own composting corners.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Emerson Cox Renfro is the founder of The Compost Corner and author of Mama’s Mulch. She was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the University of North Texas. Her inspiration comes from the home she and her husband Bradley have cultivated together to raise their precious daughter Joy.
